Doug Bates, M.B.A., M.S. has been a marketing professional since
1986 serving in marketing management at Aquent, Signet, Providian
Insurance, and The Franklin Mint. Prior to the advent of the internet,
Doug specialized in direct marketing, principally in direct mail
and telemarketing media, with an emphasis on test marketing, database
marketing, and statistical analysis and modeling.
As a test marketing specialist Doug began testing online media
in 1996. In 1997 he switched his professional focus to internet
marketing. Between 1997 and 2000 he worked with several dot-com
start-ups (Nequity.com, Skill.com, AquentDirect.com), then managing
online marketing for Aquent. In 2001 Doug founded Aderit, helping
a variety of organizations achieve and maintain profitable internet
marketing operations.
Doug graduated with honors in Psychology from Dartmouth College.
He received his M.B.A. from Cornell University, with distinction,
concentrating in Marketing and Quantitative Methods. Doug also
holds an M.S. in Organizational Theory from the University of
Pennsylvania.
Doug has been a Qualified Google Adwords Professional since the
very first day Google provided this certification.
Doug has been a speaker on internet marketing at
Search Engine Strategies - Toronto 2005
and the National Association of Broadcasters - 2001.
Arnas Ratkevicius, M.S. is Aderit's bid management specialist.
Prior to joining Aderit, Arnas worked in various information systems
roles supporting website, call center, and document management projects.
Arnas has an M.S. in Economic Informatics and a B.S. in Management Informations Systems,
both from Vilnius University.
